Every cell maintains genome stability

Let’s figure out how.

Research

Our lab seeks to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying the mammalian DNA damage response. We are driven by our desire to better understand this fundamental aspect of our biology as well as the potential to manipulate DNA repair processes in genotoxic cancer therapy and gene editing.

About us

We opened our doors in 2023 at
Simon Fraser University with the simple aim of exploring DNA repair. We aim to foster a dynamic, inclusive, and enriching environment in our pursuit of great science. Our skills run the gamut from in vitro and computational biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, to structural biology.
